Sunstone is a variety of feldspar that captivates with its warm glow and fiery reflections. The stone varies in color from golden-orange to reddish-brown, often with sparkling internal inclusions of hematite or copper. These tiny particles create an “adventurescence” effect – a play of light reminiscent of the glow of the sun. Commercial forms: beads, cabochons, loose stones, jewelry (rings, pendants, earrings). Hardness: 6–6.5 on the Mohs scale – suitable for everyday wear with a little caution. Main deposits: India, Norway, USA (Oregon), Tanzania. Unique advantage: natural sunstone (especially Oregon) is distinguished by more saturated colors and valuable collector's qualities. Metaphysical properties In crystal therapy and esoteric practices, sunstone is considered: A stone of joy and optimism - stimulates vital energy, brings positive vibrations.
