This 20–25 mm natural thulite impresses with its warm pink-red color, resembling marble with ethereal white and cream threads. The stone is polished to a silky smooth surface and carries the natural softness of the Scandinavian lands from which it originates.
Thulite was first discovered in Norway in the 19th century and is named after the mythical land of Thule – an ancient symbol of the end of the known world, of Nordic mysticism and untouched nature. Also called pink Zoisite, thulite quickly became part of local traditions – it was used in amulets and carvings, worn for love and inspiration. It was believed that this stone protects the heart and inspires the speech of poets and storytellers.
