Hypersthene

This smoothly polished hypersthene, measuring between 20 and 25 mm, is distinguished by a mystical metallic sheen in shades of gray-brown-black. The name “hypersthene” comes from the Greek words “hyper” (above) and “stenos” (strength), and means “excessive strength”. In ancient times, it was used by Scandinavian healers and warriors as a stone of resilience and concentration. It was believed to support fighting spirit without inciting aggression – strength with wisdom. Some legends say that hypersthene was worn by shamans during astral travel and meditative practices related to star knowledge.
