This exquisite heart-shaped locket is made of natural labradorite - a stone known for its magical play of colors called labradorescence. Its silver-gray base comes to life when moved, revealing a glow in shades of blue, gold, green and even violet.

According to Inuit legend, the Northern Lights were trapped in the rocks off the coast of Labrador (Canada) until a warrior struck the stone with a spear and released some of the light back into the sky. What remained in the ground became labradorite - a stone that reflects the magic of the sky.

How to clean minerals and jewels with gemstones:
